“ Visited on a Tuesday night, quiet, but really nice atmosphere, a lovely setting. The staff were absolutely amazing! So friendly, recommending dishes & general chatting, a refreshing change from most restaurants. The food was outstanding. We were sat in a booth in front of the open kitchen. JJ the chef was happy to chat which was lovely! The soup was something else! We had the fillet steak - cooked to perfection! And the burger which was highly rated. Desserts - just wow! Three courses, so reasonably priced - I would not have argued if I had to pay more, the quality was second to none! We will be back very soon! Thank you ”

“ Have never been to a place where the staff are so attentive. We were treated like VIP’s. They couldn’t do enough for us. We thought that when we were in the pod outside we would be forgotten about but couldn’t have been further from the truth staff really made it a special occasion for a birthday celebration. “ We visited The Welsh House for Father’s Day and had a fantastic experience. The food was spot on—served hot, fresh, and full of flavour. Everything we tried was delicious and really well prepared. The highlight of our visit, though, was the incredible service from our server, Teresa. She was extremely helpful when it came to the food and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. All the baby seats were in use, but she kindly went next door to a neighbouring restaurant to borrow one for us. That kind of thoughtfulness and care is rare—Teresa was absolutely lovely and we couldn’t have asked for better service. As part of their Father’s Day special, they were offering a free pint of Madri, but since I don’t drink alcohol, they had a great alternative—a free soft drink instead. I chose to stick with water, but it was a nice touch and appreciated all the same. All in all, a warm and welcoming experience. We’ll definitely be returning. Thank you again, Teresa! ”

“ We had a lovely lunch at The Welsh House last month. If you’re looking for true Welsh flavours, this is the place to go. The atmosphere was relaxed, with a cosy atmosphere inside. It was a sunny Friday so lots of groups celebrating. We started with some Welsh classics - cockles and laverbread on rarebit crostini, and a hearty lamb cawl. Both were delicious! Very happy that they served cawl the proper way - with cheese! For mains, we had the beef burger with Welsh dragon cheese in a beer bun, and a rump steak with chunky chips. Everything tasted super fresh. Great to see such a strong focus on local Welsh ingredients, and the huge Welsh drinks menu was spot on with choices like Gower Gold beer and Aber Falls gin. Highly recommend if you’re in Swansea and want to try local Welsh food in a friendly, relaxed setting! ”

“ Honestly without a doubt the best fish and chips my partner and I have ever had! The batter was so light and crispy and those chips were absolutely out of this world good, I don't normally finish all the chips or fries that come as side when I order a meal but for these I absolutely made an exception, deliciously well cooked! We also received exceptional service from a member of the waiting staff called Sam, he was polite, warm and welcoming, very attentive with a lovely smile! Absolutely top notch lunch all round, we would definitely go out of our way to eat here again next time we are in Swansea!! ”
